"I "I have learned many leadership skills through TAC and gained confidence when meeting others and presenting in front of large groups. Being active through service and volunteer work in the community has also helped me develop great time management skills!"
Since 1987, the Youth Resources Teen Advisory Council has engaged high school students who are passionate about leadership, community service, and civic engagement while allowing youth leaders to gain a sense of ownership and responsibility. The program, which began with 12 students, now has nearly 100 members and has involved over 1,895 teens in leadership development! During the 2013-14 school year, these students completed almost 2,600 hours of community service through 82 local non-profit agencies and 104 events.
