Our Mission and Impact

Since 1987, Youth Resources has engaged over 146,139 young people in leadership, civic engagements, and community service activities through 3,014 service projects.

1,005 youth, ages 5-18, were directly involved in leadership, civic engagement, and community service activities through the Youth Resources programs in the 2011-12 school year!

Our mission is to empower young people to take ownership of challenges they see in the community, devise action plans to address those issues, and implement service projects to improve life in the local community through their leadership. We strive to increase their awareness of others' needs and to encourage life-long civic responsibility.

So many people honorably feel that youth are our leaders of tomorrow, and they are, but youth are also a power force in our community TODAY! At Youth Resources, we believe in young people, we value them, we respect them, and we empower them.
