3rd Annual Scooter Scramble Successful Day for Youth Resources’ TEENPOWER Scholarship Fund
On September 12, 2016 at Oak Meadow Country Club Youth Resources hosted another successful Scooter Scramble honoring former TAC and TEENPOWER volunteer and dear friend of YR Robert “Scooter” Tiemann.
Because of the generosity of over 130 golfers and 50 sponsors, we raised $15,000 to support area youth through the Scooter Scholarship Fund, which means 50 students will be able to attend TEENPOWER who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity. Scooter’s legacy continues, and all of us at Youth Resources are incredibly humbled to be part of it.
Thank You To Our Sponsors
Would You Like To Give?
Scooter used to pay the registration fee so that students with financial need could participate in Youth Resources’ TEENPOWER leadership conferences. He never wanted anyone to know he was behind these generous scholarships.
We know Scooter would be thrilled that more students can now attend TEENPOWER to meet positive adult and peer role models, learn about making healthy choices, develop their leadership skills and make life-long friends.
