Our Why

We are honoring Scooter’s legacy with you by supporting local youth and their efforts to give back to our community. Scooter, a dear friend to YR, used to pay the registration fee for students with financial need to participate in Youth Resources’ High School and Middle School TEENPOWER leadership development conferences. Scooter generously paid these fees anonymously so these students could experience Youth Resources. We’ve spilled his secret, and have founded the Robert “Scooter” Tiemann TEENPOWER Scholarship Fund to continue his work of allowing more students than ever to attend TEENPOWER.

Since 2013, this scholarship has provided 224 students with the opportunity to attend TEENPOWER. Because of generous donors, bidders, and YR supporters, we are all able to continue his legacy. #ForScooter
