About BMOC

Big Man on Campus (BMOC) was created in 2010 to promote high achievement and confidence among high school males and the local youth community. The pageant allows young men a chance to share their talents and receive recognition for their achievements. This pageant’s purpose is not to judge outer beauty, but to highlight those young men whose distinguished character and integrity make them an important figure on their high school campus and local communities. This project also serves as the main fundraiser for the Youth Resources Teen Advisory Council which serves high school students in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Gibson and Posey counties.

  1. Contestants must be seniors in high school in good standing.
  2. Contestants will conduct themselves respectfully during meetings, rehearsals and the Big Man On Campus event.
  3. Contestants will not be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs, use tobacco products or use foul language at any meetings, rehearsals or the Big Man On Campus event.
  4. Contestants will provide their own wardrobe and understand that they will be disqualified for inappropriate dress during any portion of the Big Man On Campus event.
  5. Contestants will display the highest degree of sportsmanship during the event and behave courteously to all contestants, Youth Resources staff, BMOC co-chairs, Teen Advisory Council members, adult and youth volunteers, EVSC staff and audience members.
